| The science program at our
school is an inquiry-based program that promotes student discovery. The
students are prompted to consider their background knowledge to help them
investigate topics in science. The topics include: |

Life Cycles and Migration * The Metric System * The Scientific Method * Organisms Macro and Micro * Earth in Space * Our Ecosystem – The Pinelands |

| Students record information and labs in their Interactive Science Journals. They also use the journals as a way to reflect on their new knowledge and express relationships within the information. Technology is integrated into the class with microscopes, microscope cameras, LCD projector, wireless laptops and astronomy software. | |
