The Haines/Memorial Film Club is dedicated to exposing
today’s students to an original American art form – Classic Hollywood Movies
(and sometimes foreign films). The discussions will cover theatre etiquette
and they will point out how various movies have influenced today’s movies
and our culture, and how they reflected the times they were made in (i.e.
the culture and history of the day.) All movies will be chosen from those
films made prior to 1970. This club will meet for 2 hours after school. Parents must providetransportation home.
