So...how can you help The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House support more than 1,750 families each year? Collecting soda pop tabs is one E-A-S-Y way! It's simple. It's low cost. It's a great way to get involved. Because of the community support for programs such as this, families can stay here for no more than $15 a night.

This program at The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House began in 1997. That year we collected 8,417 pounds of tabs. Last year in 2003 we collected 27,646 pounds of tabs, over 3 times the amount we collected the very first year. To date, The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House has collected over 94 tons of tabs which translates into more than $63,000 since the program started over eight years ago.

Here is how YOU can help The Ronald McDonald House...

1. Have your friends, family, and relatives save soda tabs.

2. Have your children bring the soda tabs in to school.

3. He/She will give them to the class president who will get the bag weighed with the school representative.

4. At the end of the year the school representative will bring them to the Ronald McDonald House as a donation.
